Hello! My name is Callie. I am a licensed professional counselor in training and am excited to welcome you to The Grove! In our work together I am motivated to support you in finding your most authentic and happy self.
I know how important it is to find a therapist who you resonate with, so here is a little bit about me and my personality! In therapy, you can expect me to be passionate about providing a calm, peaceful, and supportive environment. Depending on what we are working toward, I can be a sounding board, a validating presence, or a supporter of deep exploration.
I am told that I have a calming presence and am able to explore difficult themes in a supportive way. In session, I lean into some of my own personal awkwardness and I enjoy showing up authentically! I also bring a bit of silliness into my work, using humor and metaphors when it feels right to make things feel more approachable. Most importantly, I tailor my approach to what resonates most with you, because I believe meaningful connection is at the heart of healing.
Safety is a vital part of therapy, so I focus on tuning into your needs and supporting your autonomy and agency. I pay close attention to consent and respect, ensuring that our work together feels empowering and that you have a say in your healing process. My goal is to co-create a space where you feel safe, heard, and in control of your journey.
